I forgot that Dean was coming down this weekend, and it's become an action packed weeked. Amy's, Pinballz, Book People, Hope Outdoor Gallery, Classic Game Fest, Mt Bonell, and Mayfield Park.

What's sad is, I can't really do any of these things on my own - the only times I've been able to do the things in Austin I love are when other people are paying for them. Tess and Dean both paid for nearly all the the things we did when they were here. Even the free stuff - I don't have the money for spare gas.

Here's hoping I get something quickly, before the end of the month. I want to stay in Austin - I want to DO things in Austin. I just can't get my head above water enough to actually DO it.

So in my dream world, Peter Jackson is an incredibly patient man who will not only develop you're script for TV for the asking, but wait patiently while your attempt to create a business card from scratch so he can have your contact info.

With "The Girl in the Mirror" on forever hiatus, maybe I should focus my efforts on a tongue in cheek travel-blog called "Places in the Texas Hill Country Where You Can Hide a Body."
