Oct. 5th, 2014 10:43 amJenn's Hospital Vacation Day 4 Update: Laying down, no pain! Walking, just feels like I strained a muscle. Standing still hurts like a @#%( but it takes a lot longer to get there now. Knee is a still swollen and red, but only barely swollen (but very red). Red is spreading down the front of my shin, but my healing continues apace.

Oct. 5th, 2014 12:07 pmSo, one of two things will happen from here forward at the hospital.
1) They're switching to another antibiotic which, if it works, will have me out of here by Thursday, followed by many many MANY weeks of oral stuff I can take at home.
2) If the antibiotic fails, I'll be here in the hospital for many many MANY weeks while they put me back on an IV drip of vancomycin.
