Made it into Van Horn safe and sound. As far as roadtrips go, this was as perfect as they come: Left on time, hit everything I wanted to hit, lost light juuust under an hour before coming into the hotel.
Gonna take some time to relax, get in a nice shower, and get ready for tomorrow

Google Maps has become a nightmare when it comes to making road trip routes. Click the wrong spot, or don't double click fast enough (I'm on a laptop), and suddenly it discards your route to give you Too Much Info about whatever it was you clicked.
