Feb. 25th, 2016 01:06 amThe car has new rotors and brake pads. One of the struts is damaged, though, likely from when I got stuck in the sand in Los Angeles (it passed inspection just days before). That'll be an additional $1300 to fix. Oddly, that's the only bit of bad news for right now...
...the good news? I don't owe any pressing bills right now. Figuring I was in for a penny and should be in for a pound, I paid $50 to one of the outstanding medical bills for the first time in many MANY months.
The Doomsday Money is virtually done, though. $190 in it right now. But I'm going back to 40 hours starting next week (36 this week!), so I'm hoping I can slowly rebuild that savings with the increased paycheck, the Patreon cash (Which is going to be substantial this month!), and PayPal donations.
I plan to put up a donation meter for the strut fix on the website. Hopefully that'll help get it paid. I wanna say things are looking up, but the universe has a way of hearing things like that. ::fingers crossed::
