I think the Genevieve train is starting to lose steam, so I may sit down and fill out the narrative a little around the dialog back-and-forths I wrote so far, then get back to comics until the muse hits again.

Went through a lot of the book so far, taking what are long bits of dialog, and adding description and action to fill it out. I ended up adding a new scene as well to the 1980s segments. It's the 2260s segment that needs the most work, and rather than do that now, just before bed, I'll tackle that tomorrow, so I expect the word count to go way up.

I still only have a general idea of where the 1980s and 2260s segments are going. I kinda think the 2060s segments are complete, but they FEEL incomplete. There's "documents" there, but the story is only implied by those documents. Still only a rough idea about 900s segment, and no idea what to do about the 1500s and 1800s other than a vague idea.

“There's a side project...more of a hobby, really. Something I came across looking into possible historical records of multiple personalities. Misdiagnosed as possessions, head traumas, hysteria. There are two names that come up more than others. Vindia and various forms of Genevieve. Like Genovefa, Jennifer, Ginerva. There aren't many records but variants of that name shows up more than most. And two stories mention this 'Vindia.'”
Lanza scowled. “Stories.”
“Stories. They didn't have psychiatric write ups back then. Just stories and mentions.”
“And you seriously think she's...one of these...Genevieves?”
Frank steepled his fingers again and considered his reply very carefully. “Officially, no. Unofficially, I would very much like to ask her more questions.”
