Did Laundry, had a good breakfast, picked up some stuff to fix the TV antenna issue I've been having, got groceries, did dishes, cooked tomorrows food, configured the shortwave adapter for the new VHF radio, picked up a station from Cuba on shortwave, had dinner, set up the TV antenna for later work, spilled a huge amount of water in my room and hallway, cleaned up said room and hallway, and now bed.

A very exhausting, but full day.

So, I'm playing The Minish Cap, when I get to a scene that disturbs me. Not in a squick way, or a triggering way, or a phobia. Just disturbs me when I think about it.

One of the characters has been turned into a hat. He mentions he has trouble walking now that he doesn't have legs anymore. In this video, he talks about smacking his hip. "Or whatever it is I have now...a brim?"

There's something about bodily transformation that has always disturbed me in a troubling way. Maybe it's because I'm trans an in a body I don't much like, but seeing others transformed into things they don't want to be really bugs me something fierce.

I normally don't react to stuff like that, though, unless they specifically point it out.
