Jagged Draft
22,890 words, 57 pages.
Running into an issue I didn't expect. There was a character I was going to kind of...well...make a bad life for. "Doctor Castro" is based on a teacher I had one year who would not pass me, despite doing the work, unless I drew up birthday invitations for her daughter.
If you do me wrong, I hold grudges for a long time, and Dr Castro was my way of basically kicking her in the ear and saying "How do you like them apples?!" The problem? She's become sympathetic. And I don't want that for twelfth grade's Mrs. Castro. So I'll likely change her name in accordance to the Jenn Dolari Policy for Naming Characters: "Last names are all counties in Texas."
Doctor McCulloch? Doctor Caldwell? Doctor Deaf Smith?
