With the holidays over, the flu gone, and finally recovering from the schedule whiplash, my room (where I'd basically just been curled up nesting and never leaving) was a nightmarish mess. And this weekend, I took care of all that.

From just de-garbaging the room (so much clutter and boxes) to doing a load of dishes (so many piled up dishes and food boxes) to doing the laundry (I was down to my last pair of underwear), then getting out of the house to get gas, rent and groceries (been eating badly from fast food, too tired to cook), FOLDING said laundry (now THERE'S a first), vacuuming (well, attempting to vacuum...that poor thing is stuffed to the gills), cooking tomorrow's dinner (nothing spectacular, just my "fish-food" meal)...and then...I actually had free time.

Spent most of it re-ripping my CD collection at 320kbps, planning out the streaming schedule this week, and thinking about making a more elaborate batch-dinner for next work week.

PRODUCTIVITY ROCKS.

Thoughts Before Bed

Productivity and Energy seem to happen when I get 10+ Hours of Sleep. Can we move to 26 Hour Days, please? Maybe 28, so I can make some breakfast, too?

Stream cancelled on account of I'm not in the mood.

I've had people tell me if I want to be a professional, I have to draw/write something no matter what mood I'm in, and today's a good example of why I'll never be a professional: If I'm not in the mood, I simply can't be creative.

I tried, the art came out badly, I couldn't feel what I wanted, and the stream that was supposed to get creative juices flowing and revved up to draw just ended up with a constipated Jenn who blew a blood vessel in her eye trying to shit art out.

I tried, I failed, I'll try again when I'm in a better mood.
