Thoughts before bed.

I was told, years ago, that I should stop writing poetry by someone in authority because it wasn't good. And I did for almost thirty years. Then I did it anyways. And it wasn't bad.

I was told, years ago, that I should stop drawing comics by someone in authority because I'd never get anywhere. And I did for almost ten years. Then I did it anyways. And I was (mildly) successful.

I really need to stop listening to people "in authority."
