Feb. 21st, 2021 03:35 amSomething adorable that happened today with Ada.
I was playing some light roughousing with Ada when I jammed my thumb up against her leg and my knuckle made a very light popping sound, and I got that "jammed" feeling in my thumb. Nothing big. But I did instinctively said "Ow."
She IMMEDIATELY stopped playing, trotted close to me very quickly, and "checked my face" she was looking for something. She then buried her face in my chest (I was lying down on the carpet to play with her, and she WHIMPERED). And would not move away
SHE WAS WORRIED SHE HURT ME.
I spent the next ten minutes trying to cheer HER up.
WE DO NOT DESERVE DOGS.
