Sep. 13th, 2021 11:48 amSo apparently there's a name for the type of management I learned/did at Nintendo. "Servant Leadership." I always felt my job was to make my direct reports jobs easier, taking an interest in them, and managing through suggestion and behavior instead of DO IT.
Glad I was trained in that, thanks to folks like Brianne, David, Mark and Sonja. But mostly by being treated that way while being managed at Nintendo. Very few other places worked that way with me.
