Sep. 26th, 2021 01:18 pmSince about two years before Trump got elected, I stopped arguing politics with people I considered "too far gone" and focused on people I thought were on the fence, to try and keep Trump out of office.
Once he got in, and people showed their true faces, I began blocking. It particularly got bad in the run up to the 2020 election, and continues to this day.
My block list has become huge. And the country continues to radicalize. I'm not sure if ignoring the problem people instead of trying to reach them is the right thing, but I do know that trying to reach them has become completely unproductive. All I'm seeing is that it's not really getting better.
Maybe it's too late already. As Kosh said "The avalanche has already started, it is too late for the pebbles to vote."
