Dec. 17th, 2021 01:42 pmNot really happy that FedEx took a "signature required" package containing a $3000 check and basically left it at the door with a forged signature, but at least they rang the doorbell before it could get porch pirated.
UPDATE: So I did call Fed Ex. The answer I was given? "Because of Covid drivers are now signing for customers packages to avoid contact, even when a direct signature is required." I've asked for confirmation on FedEx on Twitter, but don't expect a follow up.
If it's true, though, that makes me worry about using FedEx for anything anymore.
