k1tana: Part One (of AWFW) is a lesson in Temptation. Part Two is a lesson in Leadership. Part Three is a lesson in Selflessness.
k1tana: And then the story ends - unless it's popular in which we have a sequel.
k1tana: If it's popular, I may take six months off before the sequel, and tell the story of how Hanna became an angel.
k1tana: That's a wierd little story.
k1tana: Wanna hear?
k1tana: Nothing spoilerific.
k1tana: Basically, this story takes place a few throusand years after the dawn of man.
k1tana: The races have split up and the Alfagaushmeier tribe is located somewhere near Germany
k1tana: The tribe is in serious trouble as it's getting too big for the small game they bring in.
k1tana: And among the children, there aren't enough boys to take join the hunt.
k1tana: So for a short while they take in the boy-children to hunt as well, and realize that they're bringing in more and more of the game.
k1tana: but it's still not enough.
k1tana: The children are fast enough, but not strong enough to bring down an animal.
k1tana: They can overtake the animal, but can't kill it.
k1tana: Eventually, things get so desperate thay they ask the girl-chldren to hunt as well.
k1tana: They can't hunt long, though, because once puberty kicks in they're expected to bear children.
k1tana: One girl, though, as she goes through puberty, realizes that she can still run as fast as the children. She devises a way to bind her breasts down and proves herself to the tribesmen:
k1tana: She still as fast as the children (who are faster than the grown males) and stronger than the children (who aren't as strong as the men).
k1tana: She begins to run with the tribesmen, using her speed to weaken the prey so much that that the men can kill the prey easily.
k1tana: She's the only woman who does it, though, because the other women are resentful that she's not bearing children.
k1tana: The men, however, are happy to have more food coming in, so they accept her.
k1tana: She's really the first women's libber.
k1tana: However, she doesn't lose her feminine edge, and when she's not hunting with the males, she's bonding with the females.
k1tana: Even more so, she's bonding with the MALES. Trying to provide a bridge between the two sexes which is pretty far in this time.
k1tana: Hanna does get pregnant, and can't hunt with the men...but they still keep counsel with her...so much so that they induct her into the men's only council.
k1tana: When the child is about 2, Hanna goes back to hunting again...but this time there's an upstart child who resents the fact that a woman is hunting with them.
k1tana: Mainly because he was one of the child hunters and realizes that while he's getting stronger, he's also getting slower.
k1tana: So they have a few bumps and bruises here adn there. They have a fight and the council banishes him from the tribe for a year.
k1tana: He comes back a wiser man.
k1tana: When hanna's child turns five, she starts teaching her the finer points of "female hunting"
k1tana: The other women aren't too happy about this. and even the counil admits "We took you in because you are good...you don't need to train another female to hunt because we have enough hunters now."
k1tana: She does it anyway...
k1tana: The male-rival even begins to help Hanna train her child.
k1tana: Then, they all go on a hunt...Hanna and her child, and the male-hunters.
k1tana: Hanna and her child manages to outrun the males, and her male rival manages to keep up as well. They find a wild boar/hog/whatever it is and begin to spear it like bullfighters do:
k1tana: What the women do when they hunt is run up ahead and tire the game out, by thring spikes into the animal. The men actually come in for the kill.
k1tana: However, they get far enough that they tire out the game and themselves. The rival find the girls and readies his spear.
k1tana: And throws it into Hanna.
k1tana: The girl-child, shocked, gets rammed by the boar and knocked out.
k1tana: He stabs her with a makeshift sword, spiked clubby thing, in the heart...and she simply can't fight back...sh'es too weak.
k1tana: The rival knocks her down, puts the sword into Hanna's hand, and then guides that sword in her hand slicing her childs throat.
k1tana: Hanna asks "Why?"
k1tana: He mentions that on his year in exile, he stweed about the humiliation he felt not being able to run as fast as a female, and that he trained long and hard in the wilderness to keep up his speed.
k1tana: He said that he was burning with rage about his humiliation at being "beaten
k1tana: "beaten by a bunch of woman loving sissies."
k1tana: While he was training in the wilderness he came upon a man who would give him power. He called himself Lord Morningstar and gave him a special gift...speed.
k1tana: And with this speed, he would be able to isolate his humiliator and her child and kill her as a final thank-you for the exile.
k1tana: With her last ounce of strength, Hanna curls up with her dead child and dies.
k1tana: The rival escapes into the wilderness and starts his own tribe, one that subjugates and abuises women who "get out of their rank."
k1tana: Hanna however dies...and the next thing she sees is her child standing next to her, and she seems to be standing over her body.
k1tana: A man in a white cloak walks up to her and explains that she is the first casualty of a war that should never have happened.
k1tana: Lord Morningstar is a breakaway angel looking to rule the earth as his own. And he needs her to take his place as an angel at his side.
k1tana: She has proved to be resourceful, intelligent and wise. He could use her.
k1tana: She accepts.
k1tana: The tribe finds hanna' and her child's body the next day, and give them a burial worthy of the council members.
k1tana: The rival eventually dies and corrupts into Shadow, becoming one of Morningstarts top lietenants.
k1tana: Specifically, the one who spears Hanna in Episode #21 (or 22, can't remember)
k1tana: There's more to the Hanna Story. [...].
k1tana: Also, Hanna sees Andrea as the child she lost...we might play with that in the sequels....
k1tana: I considered doing Hanna's story NOW, between Andrea's...but I think I'll wait.
k1tana: What's sad is that, although it's not important to the story, the rival's tribe grows into the Human Race in general.,,which is why men treat women like shit.
