One of the good things to come out of this weekend is Clark's Teaberry Gum.

Teaberry is a flavor you don't find much down here in South Texas. As a matter of fact, I know of only ONE product in South Texas that has a teaberry flavor. I'll tell you what it is AFTER I describe all the fun of Teaberry.

In Pennsylvania, those silly Pennsylvanian Dutch have all sorts of Teaberry related products. Teaberry ice cream, teaberry candies, teaberry bubblegum, birch beer (imagine a clear 7-up like version of root beer). Teaberry is a hard flavor to find in Texas, and one of the major things I miss about PA is teaberry. Teaberry is a good tasting taste that tastes good.

Now, the scary bit. What is the only teaberry flavored substance I've found in Texas? It's somethig you all know and love. It's even teaberry colored!

It's....hey, there's a cool ice cream I had once in Pennsylvania. Turkey Hill Ice Creams made a flavor called Y2KAKE (Give you three guesses as to when it came out). We ate at LEAST ten gallons of the stuff, and even scoured grocery stores to buy the flavor so we could have it for some time AFTER they stopped making it.

Y2K was a vanilla ice cream, with cake pieces in it...but wonderfully swirled throughout the whole gallon was red and blue swirls of pure buttercream frosting. Mmmm....super fattening. But super cool. Turns out Turkey Hill is bringing it back! This time, it's simply called Party Cake!

I wonder if I could get them to ship a few thousand gallons down to me.

Anyways, that flavor of teaberry, the product with the flavoring that's pretty much available anywhere, and you've all had wether you know it or not is....

You know what else came outta this weekend? Grilled Stickies from The Diner in State College. Mmmm....one of the most delectable desserts in the world. Mmmm...and you can get them online. I wish the creamery at Penn State shipped...well, tehy do...but they're EXPENSIVE. They're the best ice cream in the world. I miss Penn State....

Oh, but that teaberry thing. You know, if youwant the full tea berry experience, you only need to go to your medicine cabinet and take a swig of Pepto Bismol.

That's right, Ladies and Gentlemen. I love the taste of Peptol Bismol. And so do the Pennsylvania Dutch. Enough to make Pepto Bismol flavored gum. And I likes it. :)

So, why am I dragging this enrty out for this long, erminiscing on stuff? Because nothing really happened today...but I think I need to see a doctor about some stomach problems I've been having (Insert "YOU LIKE PEPTOL BISMOL!" joke here). LAtely, I've been feelin glike my stomach has 400 gallons of water in it. And it's happened quite a bit the last few days. I'll wake up completely not-hungry. And I won't GET hungry. But if I eat, I'll feel like my stomach is filled with water...and get very very very sleepy. That's what happened today. I woke up early, not hungry. Had a burger my mom made, and then fell back asleep frmo about 3:30PM to 6PM. And even then I couldn't get up. I've had nothing to eat since, and my stomach feels distended, bloated and full.

I need to get a job...I need to see a doctor...I need a lot of things.

Meh. Suddenly the teaberry stretching doesn't look so bad does it? :)
