Food is a good thing, yes. Food tastes good, and fills your stomach. Food is a very very very good thing. It's nice to have some.

So, other than eating food, I have submitted 5 resumes to Kinko's. That was an HOUR right there. They have this really crappy java script resume form thing that crashes if you write "Kinko's" (with the apostrophe). I ended up having to write it Kinko`s to get it through and fill out the stupid little cells. Even with AutoComplete on it was TRES Annoying.

The hours also suck...most of the jobs are "Weekends, 5PM to 10PM." One was only for Sunday! Yeesh. But, a job is a job and considering the food shortage, we need work. Any work.

I'm postponing AWFW and CS one week, simply because the server at Keenspace has been wonky all week. Some people have been able to connect, others haven't seen the new AWFW from Sunday. It'll also give me time to possibly pencil in some of the AWFW backup story...

I found SHOES! I found shoes, I did. Shoes to fit my Size 12W Hooves that aren't seven inch heels with tacky colors, leopard print or anything that would make my feet the center of attention at a grocery store. Zappos.com actually has Size 12W flats, and nice professional shoes to replace the 4 year old pair of black flats I got in PA and haven't been able to find since. And marks-a-lot marker only goes so far in hiding the worn leather on those things.

I know what you mean on the shoe front. I've got 9 1/2 W and I usually have that problem, too, although usually if I even find something in my size, they're big, clunky things instead of comfortable. I'd found some wonderful Dr. Scholl's sneakers at WalMart and loved them so much that I bought two pair of them. But you're right about the 12W's. I'm not sure I've ever seen them. Wide shoes are hard to find period anyway. And while I wish there was a way to slenderize our wide feet, there just isn't.

So glad you found something good out there!

shoes, dreaded shoes.

The Dick's Sporting Goods store near me had a pair of size 14W womens' sneakers... Not exactly dressy I know, but if you need some sneakers, you might find 'em at Dick's if there's one nearby.
Didja try Payless?

I usually check out Payless and Walmart, but in Size 12, all I ever find are sneakers. :P

hmmm. Tell ya what -- next time I find myself near a purveyor of shoes, I'll check out what's in the bigfoot section ... they might even have something for me, too ... ack, shoes! *shudder!*
