dolariThe less said about today, the better...so let's focus on Saturday.
Saturday I left for Friedrich Park a little tiny no one knows about park in Northwest Bexar County. I've tried going there before but it's hours are pretty limited...so Saturday, I got my bike and left for the park.
Where I noticed a new sign. "No Bicycles."
So I figured - what the hell...let's walk it.
Oh, man was I ever in for trouble. :)
I'm really outta shape - horribly out of shape. But, no...Jenn decided that she'd walk ALL THE WAY AROUND THE PARK. The maps showed the park as pretty small...couldn't be THAT big could it. Looked around...the trails were wide, paved and well marked. Let's GO! So away I walk....
The park is very beautiful, and a lot like the walks I used to take in my backyard (See the entry about My SLice of Middle Earth) They're just all these wandering paths in the woods...and then the trails got smaller, more uphill. And then they turned into simply cleared areas...and the signs got smaller and smaller. And I did a double take when the path became very steep and turned into a cliff ledge.
I did make my way through, though...some two hours later...
I'ma gonna do it again!
More angels have been drawn and uploaded, the last two are now cleaned up, as well.
