dolariHoly cow, it's 6:48. One minute I'm starting #70, and then I finish it and look up, and six hours have passed....
I can prolly sum the day in just a few sentences, especially since I didn't realize my day is OVER already.
I thinned out the new image I drew for Closetspace, and now it looks a bit more normal. the black lines were too too thick, and I did a little dialate filter to make the lines thinner. It looks much better now, but Carrie still has saucer plate eyes that SPARKLE now. BIG eyes. I think I need to redraw her eyes, since the 1997 version has MUCH bigger eyes than the 2003 version.
Next up was working on AWFW #70. this was an episode I had in my head since 24 Hours was devised, and I think I got it just right. There's absolutely no dialogue, but it tells it's story just fine (after some reassuring from two online friends). I'm very very happy. However, I forgot that Andrea CHANGED Episode #71, so that those events happen about 4:30 in the morning. So that means the end of Episode #70 had to be done "24 Hours" after the first panel, which is 2:00 PM. Why Andrea's aunt is wearing a bathrobe at 2:00 PM, I 'll never know.
One more episode. I'm consdering trying to do that one tomorrow instead of Closetspace since it's also a lot of repeated images, ala the first 4 panels of #70.
Episode done in record time (even the old #51 took over a day to "Assemble")! Six hours.
Everytime I see that last panel I feel like cheering. :)
