I just finished the extra three panels for AWFW and they rock. One major reason being that we get to see more angels. I love drawing them, and there's one I've been itching to draw for a LONG LONG LONG time. He's a human who was killed in West Texas in the 1860s, and was elevated to True Angel status.
His costume is basically the "Standard Angel" costume, covered from head to toe, but instead of loose robes, he wears a Desert-storm style hat with "sunflaps" and Paul McGann's "Bill Hickock" Doctor's outfit. We don't see his weapon, but he's the only angel that doesn't use a sword or a spear, he uses a shotgun (which the other angels don't like all that much). I've also always wanted an Angel named Hank.
We also see another True Angel dressed in a Kimono-ish robe, who I ahven't named yet. Dunno her backstory either, but I'm sure that will fill itself out in time. (EDIT: Her name is Kyoko Shidara...let's see if anyone figures THAT one out)
Another thing I can now inject in the extra three panels is the idea that Abaddon may or may not be Hanna. I've always wanted to keep the audience wondering if Abaddon was Hanna or not, but I don't think it comes across all that well. Next one will bring it up, which will be very important soon - "Black and Blue" (or "Bursting Point" not sure about the title just yet) is tomorrow in AWFW's timeline.
