dolariSometimes I wonder just who the hell had this phone number before us. Well, actually, I KNOW who had our number before us. His name is Joe. His lastname won't be mentioned for fear of beinging down a subpoena on us. We've gotten:
Numerous calls over the years from lawyers asking for him.
An INSANE number of faxes, some legal papers, others Get Rich Quick schemes.
He's won (and when we told them he didn't live here, then WE won) a grand prize cruise vacation every day for the last few years.
Hundreds (literally) of calls a week where people hang up as they get our answering machine.
Sometimes, with all the spam, and all the junk faxes (which go unanswered, my faxmodem is for outgoing faxes only), and the vacations and the like, I wonder just what the hell Joe was up to. Eitherway, Dean and I were thinking of just disconnecting our phones and becoming just a Cell Phone household. At least till the ads start there.
