Tonight was a VERY wierd night. Work was even more insane than usually with a backlog of calls from everywhere. Much busier than I remember it being in a long time.
However what was REALLY wierd was the "Battery Situation." I was in such a rush to get to work, that I forgot my Power Cable for my Laptop (along with everything else). So I figure "Oh, well, I got a full charge on my battery." IT should have lasted 2 hours. When I got it out of the truck 15 minutes later, the battery (whch was only in standby) was dead.
No problem, I have a radio with brand new batteries! Turn it on...and it's drained in about 15 minutes. So I decide to check out the flashlight batteries in my truck. The flashlight is hardly ever used, it's batteries should be pretty fresh. I turned on the light to check out the strength...and the light went brown almost imediately.
I was just thinking to myself about how it's strange that all those devices would brown out so quick, while I was gluing my Enterprise model together (it's snap-together, and some of the seams just didn't snap close enough), and I turn on the lights on the model...only to see the lights visibly brown out.....
So, who let off an EMP over my house?!
