I called my mom early in the morning. I hadn't called them in a while, and being Mother's day I was kinda obligated to...I did tell them I'd met a new girl, Emily, andthey were happy for me. The obvious came up immediately: Are you moving to Canada? I told her, "who knows?" She seemed happy about it. Then I slept and woke up for....
Comics! All day!
Some notes about AWFW - we finally get to hear about the creator, Deyus Pitha. We also deepen the mystery of Hanna a bit with the 30 year revelation. And definitively connect "Emm'a" to "Abaddon."
Deyus Pitha a purposely mispelled version of Dyeus Phater, the name of the chief god in the Proto Indo European societies (It's also where we get the names Zeus, Dievas and Jupiter). I've actually used a bit of PIE in the series, already. Haustos is based on PIE Hausos, goddess of dawn, and Skai...well...we'll get into that eventually. :) Anyways, if the Creator was the first thing around, we might as well give him the first name we had for him.
A reader figured out HAnna's mystery already! Hotdamn! The sign of a plausible mystery is if someone gets it before everyone else (including the story characters) do.
Looking it over artwise, though, I definately need to do something about the long shots. Panel 5 and 6 look terrible, and were hard to draw in the 1/6th format I'm using now. I may need to go back to 1 page per panel for long shots.
It was/is our 2nd month anniversary! I love you nine times over, Emily. :) ::hugs::
