Roger Smith...made his decision.
May. 17th, 2005 08:50 amI'd also love to know what YOU, the viewer at home, thinks:
I am absolutely dreading work, however, I have steeled my jaw and will be going in teeth bared. I've made a decision, though...and it was a tough one. 2005 is turning into a whole year about decisions, what with the Trinoc thing, and the job thing, and the #9 thing. Important decisions being made, and stuck with. Most with unintended consequences....
Special Chicken Flavor Ramen - ABSOLUTELY nothing to write home about. Like I expected, it was basically a slightly more spicy American Chicken Flavor (aka Chicken LAced Salt Flavor). The chillipowder thought DID give it a spicy flavor. ** out of *****
Onion Chicken Flavor - My second favorite Indomie Ramen, it's basically French Onion Ramen. And man, it's good stuff. I'd drink the broth as a soup alone. The ramen is just there to make it pretty. ***** out of *****
Oxtail Soup Flavor - Eh, not so hot on this one. It wasn't bad...it was pretty good...but tasted a lot like Special Chicken Flavor, with a hint of...well...I can't explain it. Oxtail I guess. :) Tasted somewhat lightly of fish of all things. ** of *****
I really don't want to go to work tonight....
Howdy!
In case you don't know who I am, I'm Jenn Dolari. You may have seen me in
such fine webcomics as Closetspace, A Wish for Wings, or Gingivitis: The
Silent Killer.
I'm also running the Win Lose or Draw game for the con. I always wanted
to see how artists could handle a Win Lose or Draw game, and this year,
I finally get to find out.
Anyways, I wanted to ask y'all the basics, since we're getting pretty
close to crunch time.
The main question being how do y'all wanna handle this? We could play it
as a straight Win Lose or Draw Game (although since we ARE all artists,
they'll prolly be expert-type categories) or go full blown parody with it
(as in, some people might get "The" as a clue, or "King John Signing the
Magna Carta while woodpeckers attempt to make a nest in his wooden leg").
I'd also like to know how you'd like to break into teams. We'll need two
teams of two per game (with one audience contestant), and I figure we'll
have an hour, so we can play two games.
Basically, there won't be any Big Prizes, either. The winner will win the
stuff we draw (with autographs), and the loser can get some of the surplus
shirts (and maybe even copies of the home game if I can find any out
there).
So, lemme know whatcha think, any questions or suggestions, you might
have, so we can get the ball rolling. :)
