Something I forgot to mention. I'm getting worried about my health...the other day, while getting up from Dean's car, I got violently dizzy. I've always suffered dizzy spell...but most don't last but a few seconds: A quick "shifting of the world" and a stumble...but I'm fine seconds later. This time, though, I got up, and immediately felt every bit of energy drain from my body. I got tunnel vision, and became really weak kneed for about 30 seconds. I wasn't right the rest of the day.
Since then, every day in the evening (or in your time line Late Night), I get ravenously hungry...and feel hungry all night long. I'm trying to keep on my diet, but I blow it EVERY night. And tonight, I wasn't the least bit hungry, I was tryin hard to stick to my diet, but I literally could not stop thinking about and craving cereal. I broke down and ate it, and the craving went away. But that's how it's been every night since the faint.
I'm horrified that I might finally be getting the family curse: Diabetes. It's not a matter of if, but when I get it. My doctor is already on the lookout for it, and I'll mention it next time I see him.
Strangelove (and amw) convinced me to try out a DivX encoder. So I gave it a shot, and encoded a movie I had on DVD to see what it looked like. Pentium 4s ROCK. DivX is GORGEOUS. A 2 1/4 hour movie boiled down to 494MB. Holy cow!
So, I know there are some DivX gurus out there. When I encoded the movie, I got some VERY VERY bad interlacing artifacts. I know the movie was interlaced, and the output was progressive. Anything I need to do to get rid of that?
Other than that one thing, I'm really impressed with it. I'm using FlasKMPEG with DivX 4.01 (I think), whada I do to get rid of the interlacing artifacts?
Speaking of old bootlegs...here's a list of videos I still have: http://www.dolari.org/pub/videolist2k3.txt
Damn, it's "late."
