Hold it! This is for Life!
May. 22nd, 2006 05:19 amI find it hilarious that On the History Channel all day, they've had every possible use of "Da Vinci" and "Code" without actually delving too deep into the movie. One special was just the life of Leonardo (Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Code He Lived By)!
You know the theory that the Mona Lisa is a femenine self portrait of Leonardo? Anyone ever wondered if he was Trans at all? Assuming that St. John in the Last Supper isn't Mary Magdaline (I believed it was way before all the current hoopla), that's one Femmey looking guy. Same with his pic of John the Baptist ("Look up there!"). Not that I'm saying he is, but we trans artists love our feminine guys.
Maybe Da Vinci just liked Bishy guys? (Or, maybe he INVENTED the whole Bishonen thing to begin with!)
