dolariQuickie update since it is quite late and I should be in bed.
1) Closetspace panel 1 is done, 2-3 are flat colored, 4 is partially colored, 5 and 6 are inked.
2) Bathroom is clean, as is kitchen and laundry. Note to self: Scotch guard house so you never have to do this again.
3) Galactica Movie - It wasn't Battlestar Galactica, but was very good for a non-Galactica Sci Fi movie, although the gratuitous sex scenes were...well...gratuitous. Look forward to Part 2.
4) Gore endorses Dean. I'm usually of the mind of voting whoever does the best for the country. This is the first time in my voting years I've considered voting for someone who will simply beat the Incumbent (or Usurper), even if he isn't the best candidate.
5) Sent out massive Link Exchange EMails. Got one reply which was "We'll see." Hopeful.

Date: 2003-12-09 01:38 pm (UTC)Well, there was the bit where they were fighting the fire on Galactica, but unlike the "Fire in Space" episode of the original, there were reasons they couldn't use zero g to stop or at least slow down the fire (yes, removing gravity has drastic effects on fires!)
I'm willing to see where it goes.
Though I do have to admit to thinking that the opening scene was a bit much. That guy at the treaty station was way too slow on the uptake and too unresisting as well.

Date: 2003-12-10 01:01 am (UTC)My only main problems right now are: Too much gratuitous sexuality. The story was VERY slow. And the battles didn't seem epic enough.
It still should be called something other than Battlestar Galactica, but if they make more, I'll be around to see it. :)

Hopefully they'll make more. And wise up some in the process.
