Monthly backup is done.
Pencilled in a new panel for AWFW, which means I need to get on the ball tomorrow and finish up the pencils. There WILL be a CS and AWFW update this week, even if Keenspace won't let me update there. I plan to put up a note on the front of "These episodes have been updates since the Keenspace Crash." The bad part about this is it'll blunt the "release" of the song if Keenspace isn't allowing me to update by then. But dammit, I'm not going three weeks without a cartoon.
Speaking of which, Dolari.org is fully functioning again, this time on a server in Chicago with a nice 100% IP/DNS/Whatever they're called of it's own. No more redirects and java applets. Again, big thumbs up to Kevin on this one. With PINE working the way I want, my comics under the Dolari.org domain and a backedup computer, everything is coming up rosy today.
Hee....yesterday's image originally worried the hell out of me. :) One of my friends is very big on doing cosplay (for the uninitiated, cosplay is dressing up like your favorite anime/cult TV character and going to conventions), and I started link hopping. If there's anything I've learned about link hopping is that going from page to page to page to page will almost 99% of the time have you going to a porn site. That's how I found the "Stuck in Animal Costumes site" and the strangely safe for work site http://carstuckgirls.com
This time, though, I hit a page showing various sundry images of someone in a leotard and a big paper mache head. I figured I'd stumbled on another silly-fetish site, especially after the body suit jumped over to the cat suit we saw yesterday. It took the ramblings of Katrus to convince me this was a semiwholesome site about a weird version of Cosplay called "Dollplay" or Kigurumi.
I still wasn't convinced, however, till I saw a pic that melted my heart of three Dollplayers doing a photoshoot in a park, talking to all these little girls who ran up to them because they were the characters the kids saw on TV. Awwwwwwwwww..........I just wished they hadn't marked out the kid's eyes. Kinda makes the pics look a bit sinister.

Yes, it's safe, I promise. :)
Here's the main page of the site, which seems to focus on Kanako of Love-Hina: http://mika-in.to/~hinata_dolls/
And speaking of which.

And one of the fun results of linkhopping: ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD!
