dolariMonday - We flew down to San Antonio to get new glasses and pick up the pickup. Emily forgot her driver's license so I didn't get my eyes dialated for a full exam. The optometrist didn't seem to very pleased with that - but did the rest of the exam. I really don't think he was impressed with me the way he did the exam. The glasses are close to my original glasses, but it seems large lenses are out of style for women. The lenses I have are a little smaller, but still make my eyes look bigger than they are. I can see better, but the world seems a little smaller and more fishbowly. We got the pickup and headed back.
Tuesday - Packing
Wednesday - Packing...mom came over and cleaned out some of the apartment. About midnight, we'd planned to stop packing, but I began to hurt from a slowly gestating migraine. So I pushed myself HARD till about 2 or 3, packing up everything I could. We ended up paking up the whole house (although we had a surprise box that needed repacking). We did get everything we needed packed though.
Thursday - I woke up to a horrible migraine. I felt terrible but Emily and Mom did most of the work while I just taped up boxes and hoped for the best. After taking enough Motrin to allow me to have surgery without feeling anything. I did begin packing the rest of the house by 11 and we had everything out of the house by noon. Most is now in storage. Some is coming with us. A lot will be sold. We all took showers and I made the decision to get my new phone, a Sidekick 2008. It's charging up right now. We got home, napped, had dinner, and got on SL for the first time in forever.
Tomorrow I get paid my last paycheck, a shakedown cruise AND a surprise for Emily and myself. Everything from here is all withdrawals. I'm gonna need to be really frugal and hope for the best from here on out....
