One thing about being on this stupid 7AM Wakeup Thingy is I just don't FEEL awake. It's all a blur and it taked every bit of strnght to not just crawl back into bed and sleep.

Secondly, I feel NO inspiration to draw. And once I begin to, it's time for bed.

I just feel "blank."

It doesn't work for everyone, but I read someone who has a nocturnla circadian rhythm saying that they take Melatonin (one before ned time according to the bottle I have), and that it helps them to stay asleep at night and be more alert during the day.

I tried it with mixed results. I am fairly certain that if I took it regularly, the results would improve. I still sometimes had trouble going to sleep, but I usually woke up feeling fine. Every once in a while, I'd get a bit of fatigue in the early afternoon.

One interesting effect, though. It did stabilize my sleep pattern in mid-shift. I now go to sleep between 12am and 3am and wake up between 11am and 1pm. I've thought the shift was about to start up again, but it keeps wobbling back to what I just described.
