Lousy Week continues...here on A&E

This week is fucking pissing me off.

Not only do I get sick, not only do they take my weekend away from me, not only am I scheduled for copous amounts of vertime, but a fucking woodchipper was parked outside my window, waking me up every five minutes for hours. I got about four hours of sleep.

Woodchippers should fucking be ILLEGAL in residential areas. Sounds like a damned car wreck.

This is gonna be a bad week....

I'm sure there's more. I rarely get up to check what's annoying me, I just try to bury my head further into the pillow.

I hear ya on the woodchipper thing. I live in a condo, and we've got to haul our trash out to a set of dumpsters at one end of the complex - the end about 30 yards from my bedroom window. Every morning at 7:30, the big truck shows up to empty the aforementioned dumpsters. Between the noise the truck itself makes, and the painfully loud banging of the metal containers, there's no way anyone within three zip codes could sleep through the racket.

It seems to not affect most of the residents, as most have left for work by then. But I work Noon to 8 PM - so I'm still sound asleep at 7:30. Until the truck comes by. Bleh.

Hope your work situation improves... Whatever good work karma I can muster is directed your way.
