dolariACK! My copy of the Star Wars Holiday Special is at my friends house! She wanted to see Babylon 5 and there's an episode just after the special! D'ohh! Although thanks to Kengr, I did manage to see it, although in a tiny little Real Media window. :) However, I'm making a nice clean encode of Santa Claus Conquers the Martians as we speak. :) I'm using an older program, tat seems to be able to encode at a HUGE screen size, so I'm hoping with a nice 640x480 image, I can make a nice clean Xvid video from it.
It's really wierd to see commercials for JFK, Hook, The Prince of Tides, Father of the Bride and THE HALLS OF MEDICINE! Commercials for the NES Dr. Mario and HUGE GAME BOYS!
I think this dates this tape to 1991, which means it's 13 Years old. And it LOOKS great. The sound will need some cleanup and amplifying, though. I think that when I finally start encoding the tapes, I'm going to keep the commercials intact. There's so much 80s hair in this it's horrifying,

A case of 12 MREs (although 5 are already packed in the truck) from someone who wishes to remain anonymous lest the rest of you hit them over the head for feeding my current obsession. :)
(Not shown, a small pack of Bottle Caps, my fave candy, and a box of Peanut Butter Meltaways (freezing in the fridge))
Supposedly my parents have MORE for me at home.... I may just go home early and stay there overnight to go for my shot.
I just caught site of myself in the mirror while brushig my teeth (I make it a habit not to look in mirrors) and realized...I may not be losing weight...but my waistline has shrunk. Not so much LOSING weight as it's moving around to all the right places. :D
