dolariSo I've been playing all the Legend of Zelda games in chronological order, and I'm noticing some neat continuity. The Dark World in Link to the Past (1991) is where the Seven Mages sealed Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time (1998). The Sacred Realm in Skyward Sword (2011) is the Dark World before Ganondorf messed with it.
While I think most if the history in the game was a recent retcon mixed with a little "connect the dots" its a pretty impressive feat of reverse engineering a continuity that makes sense. :)
