Auto-playing video is the auto-playing MIDI of the 2010s. I've had to kill Adobe Flash so often, I made an icon I click to do it for me.

Agreed. It wouldn't be so bad if only the active tab autoplayed, but sometimes you open four tabs from a search and next thing there's a whole fucking orchestra of cacophony you're scrambling to turn off.
