Oooh, someone actually wrote an actual review of CS in their blog. Not just a general mention of the comic. Let's see what we got here...

One of the comics I read was called Closetspace. It was odd. It’s about a twenty something guy who is transsexual and wants to be a girl. This is all fine and dandy and I can live with that. But, then, he decides that because he wants to be a girl, and thinks he can be one sooo well, he moves in with a girl. Problem! This is assuming that men come prepackaged with voices that can pass as a girl’s voice. If he had a cute little girly voice, I think his family would’ve noticed. Hmm. He also manages to sing a song, and there’s a recording of it, and it’s done by a girl. Understandable since he wants to be a girl, but if anything, he’d need a voice closer to mine than that sweet and sugary one they used. Second, suddenly in the story are about two other transsexuals, either through or partially through transition. One is unhappy because he wasn’t really a girl, but was a guy, and he’d made a mistake. Question. Don’t you have to go through tons of therapy, a year of successful living as the opposite sex, and then go through more therapy before you can get those hormones and surgeries? I mean, I don’t think there are places where you can just go get hooked up with hormones like you can with hookers and drugs. I mean, use your brain. I just think it’s a little farfetched.

My own are that (1) Nikki's voice is that of an M2F, (2) I know someone who did it in record time by fooling her therapist and (3) I can buy estrogen on the net pretty cheap.

Even I'll admit I don't often use my brain, though....

The sad thing is, he wasn't ALWAYS evil. His wife cheated on him....

Actually, while I can understand your response to her questions and criticism, I think it raises a point: Not all of your readers are privy to the same information as you. If some readers find some story points hard to believe, maybe those story points need more clarification within the story so that readers with less knowledge of these subjects won't be so easily confused.

Yes, but remember. There isn't such a thing as a normal anything. That's the whole point. As for accepting that the voice is real, just know that it is. There really isn't anything else that can be said on that one. I could do it again I suppose and change my voice using audio programs, but the voice I use is an authentic voice ;)

It would be nice to be able to leave the person some feedback but I didn't see any place where a person can leave a comment. The writer is younger, in high school, and is having hir own struggles ... maybe a polite informative response would help..? *shrug* prolly not, but I guess it's the thought that counts ... I know I've learned a lot about being TS as CS has developed and following your LJ - I wonder, did the writer post anything in the message board?

You know, everytime I get fanmail from a new fan, I usually ask, are there any plot points that need fleshing out? Anything that isnt' clear yet? And there's been a few things, but mostly they say it's pretty well thought out. Usually any bits left hanging are "We'll see the answer to that in a few months/years."

The most asked AWFW question is "Why is Hanna trying to kill Andrea." The answer is "We'll see very very soon." :)

There really hasn't been a Most Asked CS question since I revealed Allison's secret. Maybe i'm not doing something right here. ;)
