I am swimming in pills. I got my three month supply of everything. Toprol, Lipitor, Spiro. All of it. It's just a huge mass of pills. Tons of them. I have enough spiro to feminize a horse.
I don't have any Tricor, though. With my liver working better, and cash on the tight side, I've decided not to pick up another script untill I get a note from Dr. Chase saying "You need a blood test."
I accidentally bit into a spiro tablet (I tend to take them as I'm eating). The only thing worse than leaving one on your tongue fo rtoo long, it's biting into it. PTUI.
My bank sent me another credit card application. I have no credit cards. I have never used one. They keep sending me these and then immediately rejecting them. How much you wanna bet this one gets rejected too.
Not that I'm complaining - I saw what my parents went through in their bankruptcies (yeah, PLURAL). Still, I'd like to be able to say I had one. :)
Is it me, or is that Saw movie poster just incredibly intriguing? Katrus knows awhat I'm talking about.
OH! A question for the AWFW readers. I need to know if there's anything I haven't explained yet that needs to be explained. I'm doing a rather talky exposition piece in a few weeks, and I'd like to make sure everything that needs to be explained is. I'm too close to the story to make sure I hit everything that isn't clear to the readers, but is clear to me.

Date: 2005-02-16 07:48 pm (UTC)Or more than likely, the banks here won't let you pull more than 500$ on them and I hate checks. So it's more efficient to pay for more expensive things with the credit card and just pay it off all at once. I've never carried a balance on it. Though I've been sent credit card applications from the old bank (who then in turned closed the bank account on me because I didn't use it for 2 years. Well bank, then you should have let me have a credit card the FIRST time I applied for it. *snubs bank*)
Though a credit card is a dangerous thing in some peoples hands. Where I work, customers who pay with a credit card get instant gratification that their stuff has been paid for, while people who pay with paper checks usually call in and complain regularly that we lost their payment.

Date: 2005-02-17 01:42 pm (UTC)Tell me about it. Just months after my parents made it out of their first bankruptcy, some idjit sold them an SUV, which began the NEXT slide into Bankruptcy....
Gained a healthy respect for dollars when I was young. :)
