dolariPacific Northwest Secret #1 - The April Fool's Debacle.
A few years ago, for April Fool's, I mentioned that Erin Lindsey had been declared dead after going missing for over a year. I would be getting all rights to her Venus Envy comic.
The sheet amount of hate mail I got was overwhelming. Most of it started with ”If Erin knew what you were saying about her...”
She didn't just know. She helped come up with it.
She also knew and actually approved each of the CS/VE crossover comics, so every email I got saying ”Erin wouldn't have let so and so say this” was hilarious. It was her idea to have Zoe inexplicably in bee costume.
On fact, her only criticism of the comic was that I Drew Ritchie too old.
So there.
