dolariJenn Hospital Update:
So today I got to talk to the doctor about what's been going on with my knee. I don't just have a staph infection in my knee, but an MSRA Staph infection. As Liz said "Holy shit." I'm being put on Vacomycin every 8 hours for the next five days to make sure it gets dead real good.
I can lay down and walk almost okay now. Standing, however, is incredibly painful after more than a few seconds. The swelling in my knee has gone down significantly, but the infection area has spread down from the knee to include my upper shin. Doctor says this was expected, though, and the infection itself is getting less and less severe.
I'll be here until Thursday(!) at this point. At least it's a gorgeous view.
