Short answer: yes it is, else commercials like these wouldn't be aired. Nor ads for "male enhancement" or "debt reduction." Nor, here in NYC, the ones in Spanish apparently promising breast growth, The ads are weasel-worded and probably technically true, but deceptive. Yes, you'll get free over-the-air TV with the device, but only if you have a modern TV or set-top box. It's an antenna. No more, no less. An overpriced one.

How about the ones advertising footpads that detox your body?
