Yay for home cooking! ^_^ Even when times aren't lean, I almost always cook at home - I can come up with something that's just right for the moment, rather than having to make do with someone else's options, and I definitely don't have to be concerned about timid seasoning. ^_^
And I love food photography, of course - but getting the right angle, the right lighting.. bah. Still, at the next place, I ought to have space for a little lighting setup, if I feel a dish is going to be worth photographing - I think that'll be an interesting development for my photography, as I've never really been studio-based, always out and about with natural light.
