Before I went to bed yesterday, I set up my VCR recorder to record Enteprise to catch the replay so I could archive it. When I woke up, I had an error on the screen saying that the recording had stopped due to lack of disk space. So I looked on the screen and sure enough, the drive had about 50MB left on it.
So I cleared the Enterprise Mpegs out and wenbt about archiving my "Shared Video" folder which has all the Video I'm encoding to XVid onto DVDs. I started about 10PM.
I burned my last DVD just a few minutes ago. I burned a whopping SEVEN DVDS OF VIDEO. And not just regular DVDs which are about 2 hours of video per DVD, but as XVid files saved as DATA, where you can get upwards of 15 hours on DVD. That's a CRAPLOAD of Stuff. 32GB of it!
Doctor Who (2005) #0-5
Doctor Who, A New Dimension
Filthy, Rich and Catflap #1
Frankenstien (1917)
Harvey Birdman #14
Les Mondes Engloutis #1-26
Mad TV "Southpark Nuts" Short
Quest for King Arthur Documentary
Rejected
Revenge of the Sith Trailer
Robot Chicken #1-4,6
Sealab 2021 #38
Star Trek Enterprise #94
Star Trek Enterprise Mirror Universe Opening Credits
Star Trek the Animated Series #1-22
UFO Kidnapped
Whatever Turns You On #0-3
You Can't do That on Telelvision #2,7,9,14-143 and one special
The Young Ones #1-12
Various home movies
Various music videos
Various small clips of Comedy/News/Misc programs
Estimated amount of video: 4.8 DAYS. O_O
The scary thing is, I've seen most of this in the last few months. I'm still ploughing through the You Can't Do That on TV and LEs Mondes Engloutis episodes, which makes up most of the bulk of the DVD burn (156 Episodes!) I also went from 50MB to 48 GB free. :) I think I prolly need to defrag the drive while I'm at it. :D
