Did...this seem actually somewhat...reasonable? From Abbott? A Texas Republican? Or did my activism button overload and I bit-flipped to the other side for a second?
Cause...this is what I thought would be a good compromise yesterday....
The only caveat I have with it is the hint that there will be pro bono legal help for those who are taken to court. It's not like the plaintiffs in these cases will have much money to pursue a case against a free state sponsored attorney with the money and willingness to go all the way to the Supreme Court....
