I actually don't recall very much of last year's, though there were some enjoyable episodes, like the mummy, albeit also the year that gave us Kill the Moon. (And that writer's back again this year..) Flatliners was quite a nicely creepy episode, too.
This year, I'm thrilled. ^_^ The opener, with a seemingly remorseful Davros, was quite masterfully played, in every sense, followed by a good old school yarn of possession, time paradoxes, and lots of running down corridors. ^_^
(And I'm absolutely loving the new incarnation of the Master!)
