Striking people over the head with glowy-bloo rods?

That is a sweet picture.

I want that garb. Or at least the pattern.

She doesn't look very happy with me, but at least she's not holding a yellow flashlight...

Grab whatever looks good, and apply LOTS of photoshop.

Nice photoshoppin'! Couldn't even tell that it wasn't a real costume.

((pouts)) And here I thought I could actually wear something like that. It appears I could only wear it virtually. Ah, well. :)

Well, you COULD wear it...but you'd need a LOT of 3M Screen Reflection Material...and even then it'd look completely black till you turned a light onto it. :)

Jenn, you did a *fantastic* job on that photo. At first glance, it looked like she really had the costume on, and you added a bit of glow and the blue staff... But after seeing the "before" photo - wow. Job well done.

The post-production was evident, but the extent is definitely far more than I expected... I too believed there was an actual costume.

Like hell I'm not. ;)

You know, I didn't think about this, but the dress I DRAW is based on a real Celtic dress. http://www.tav-creations.com/portfolio/bridal/photo_25.cfm

If you could bleach the gold trim white (or just get it white), you'd be good. A loosely worn white hijab veil would prolly work better than a towel for cos-play. :)
