Twilight Princess HD will be out in about a half hour, so now's a good time for some tips on really enjoying a Zelda game, especially this one.




Play the game in a dark room with the volume up. Really immerse yourself in the experience.

Take the time to enjoy the scenery, it's breathtaking.

Explore EVERYWHERE. Don't make a beeline for you next objective, explore the areas you go through.

Talk to Epona in beast mode. :)

Play in nice long chunks of time. Not 15 here, 15 there. Really sit down and get into it.

Talk to everyone. Twice.

Ask Midna's advice. A lot. :)

I admit it, I was wondering how I'd missed some new MLP release. ^_^

I sort of missed out on the classic series - after the earlier arcade days, I was only caught now and then by the traditional vendors, particularly with the whole Sonic series (including Sonic Spinball!), Ecco, Aero the Acrobat, Gex, and the Oddworld, prior to their Microsoft consumption.

Reminds me, I really need to get into Hatoful Boyfriend. ^_^ Picked that up a while back, but as with so many others, it's mostly lain unplayed. Which is an unacceptable state of affairs, considering what a fabulously daffy premise it's all built around, whilst nonetheless executed with the highest production values. I can only admire the resolve of those responsible. ^_^
