May. 10th, 2016 09:27 pmWant to see where I've driven on my arrogantly named "Grand Tours?" Well, here you are. Don't zoom in too close, they're not too accurate at street level (they're barely accurate at county level!)

Date: 2016-05-11 02:59 pm (UTC)I'd love to go on another big roadtrip someday - something lasting maybe two or three weeks, exercising the camera healthily throughout, and definitely calling in at plenty of good brewpubs along the way. ^_^ (I've been watching a few episodes of Brew Dogs again lately - good fun, often more than a little silly =:) It's named (if you're unfamiliar with it) after the hosts' company, Brew Dog, a "craft beer" operation up in Scotland that's been doing very good business, both in their mainstream beers, and their experiments. Each week, they'd visit some different location, and pick ingredients and methods appropriate to the locality. In Grand Rapids, f'rex, they chose to make an eisbock, with the mash tun under a frozen lake; in Vancouver, using pine needles to help lend flavor, and hauling the tun up to a mountaintop in Whistler, before snowboarding it all back down again. Oh, and it'd be a hot beer, made with chocolate, on the theme of hot chocolate. =:9
