May. 12th, 2016 12:35 amI used to tell people I lived on "The Jollyville Road," instead of just Jollyville Road, which usually got them saying "How old are you?"
I tell people my home is the Texas Hill Country. If pressed for a city, I'll usually say my home is Austin. But in reality, I consider my home "Locke Hill" which is a forgotten town that hasn't existed in decades, now just a crossroads in Northwest San Antonio.
I live in Rural-ish Washington, and love it, my roomies who are City Folk, not so much.
Sometimes I wonder if my Texan soul is way older than my Texan body.
