But once you move out, you drop into a river. This River of Life has powerful currents and eddys. Sometimes you are swept right into your goals. Most other times, the currents sweep you far far away from what you planned. Sometimes there are inlets you can swim into, or riptides that will pull you far from them no matter how you struggle to get to shore. Sometimes you lose sight of land, and wonder if you're now out at sea. Sometimes you wash up on the beach only to have the natives push you back into the water.
Sometimes it's an adventure. Sometimes it's tiring. But it's always at the mercy of the river.
