Sep. 22nd, 2016 10:22 amI finally got rid of Tumblr. This has been a long time coming, with the "ideological cleansing" mentality over there, but the swarming of a remembrance obituary by porn bots was the last straw. That's sick, people. Just sick.

Date: 2016-09-26 06:55 am (UTC)Now, as then, I love LJ for its commenting and community - real threads, per reply icon choices, per entry security options, and so on. Meanwhile, Twitter tries to convince people that "everything public" and "everything private" are the only options anybody needs. (Plus the major difference that when A follows B here, A's posts are then visible to B, who can decide whether to follow them back. Which makes sense. Versus Twitter's concept of leaving B without any idea what A might have to say)
