I won't be leaving Livejournal, per se. Instead, I plan to keep a journal there until it gets shut down. But the Livejournal stuff will just be crossposts from the Dreamwidth journal. If-and-when my LJ gets shut down because I'm pro-LGBT and very political there, well, I'll still have everything on Dreamwidth.

I'm sorry to hear you have switched. I've mostly kept my feelings on the matter quiet, but i had a big rant on ontd_political about it yesterday. TLDR i disagree with the Russian gay propaganda law, but i see no evidence that SUP has ever or will ever ban users or delete content (unlike Six Apart and Danga who both did exactly that). I also find DW and the tabloid media sites feeding the hysteria pretty sleazy, but i guess that's capitalism for ya.

I can understand that. Not gonna lie, I did squat my handle on DW a few days ago just in case. I hope things remain fine over here, though. This is the most consistent part of my life in the last 15 years 😊
