So my two VCRs are ruined, with about 400+ VHS tapes to encode. Lots of stuff there from about 1985 to 2000. Stuff that was never released or is so local, it was only shown once or twice.
There's a part of me that says "Hold on to it, and try to buy some used VCRs to keep encoding." There's another part of me that says "Trash the tapes, you can't trust a used VCR that wasn't taken meticulous care of, and there's nothing on those tapes that precious to anyone else but you."
And since I'm prone to making bad decisions, I don't trust myself to make the right decision.
Sleep is good, though. Maybe pancakes in the morning.
